An International Consortium

The Fast Ignition Fusion Research Group is an international consortium of scientists, engineers and researchers. With partners in academia, government and industry, it is driving the state of the art of inertial confinement fusion. The ultimate aim of the group is to design and demonstrate a commercial fusion power plant that can operate cheaply, efficiently and safely so as to compete with traditional means of producing power.
